Break Bad Habits by Rewiring Your Brain

Our brains have about a hundred billion neurons with neuropathways longer than the earth's distance to the moon. That's a lot of pathways needing construction if we want to break bad habits!

Recently, road construction sparked a greater awareness of how our brain's neural pathways work. I was driving home across the Bozeman Pass on Interstate 90, and there was a string of construction signs for several miles. Initially, the signs signaled to reduce speed to 55. Men and Empathy—Are They a Lost Cause?

In our culture, we expect men to be empathetic, but often men have difficulty seeing its value. It's not that they can't learn how to empathize, but it's vital for them first to understand the value of empathy and how it affects their relationships.

A friend shared a social media post last week about how men typically respond to women's emotions. Yep, you guessed it—by trying to fix the problem! Without a doubt, it is the most common response. Most men are bewildered and fail to grasp why a woman would want to TALK about what's bothering them... why not just fix it?

I'm so emotional!  Is something wrong with me?

Emotions can inadvertently run our lives, can't they?

Does worry keep you awake at night? Do you ever say to yourself, "Why am I so emotional?" You even confess to your friends, "I'm very emotional. I don't know what's wrong with me." Or does your partner say to you, "Stop being so emotional!" or "Why do you have to be so sensitive?"

Common things I hear in coaching. Without emotional intelligence and emotional regulation, we can feel like we're traveling on a runaway train. And driving that train is usually an inner critic.

Treat Mom on Mother's Day with Essential Oils

One of my favorite daily comforts and joys are essential oils. They are natural and healthy while also filling a room with nature's most magnificent fragrances. Many essential oils are also medicinal and have antiviral properties so they are a perfect gift for Mother's Day this year.

Aromatherapy and the natural remedies that support holistic health are a huge benefit to whoever you are giving to! We hope you enjoy how we've gathered our favorite oils for you.

Now, it's possible to give a bouquet in a bottle!
